Education
Born and raised in Brisbane, plastic surgeon Dr. Phillip Bushell-Guthrie attended the University of Queensland obtaining degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry. He then worked as a research fellow in the faculty of dentistry with the National Health and Medical Research Council. After completing his basic hospital training at teaching hospitals in Brisbane, Dr. Bushell-Guthrie undertook specialist training in plastic and maxillofacial surgery in England at The Royal London Hospital and Frenchay Hospital, as well as at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He later returned to Brisbane to enter practice in plastic, reconstructive, oral, and maxillofacial surgery with an interest in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Bushell-Guthrie is a registered plastic and maxillofacial surgeon operating out of Brisbane and Mackay, Queensland.

Our Office
We welcome patients into our practice as part of the family, making a concerted effort to treat people the way we would like to be treated. Dr. Phillip Bushell-Guthrie's care does not stop when your procedure is complete. There is follow up for as long as necessary to see how you are getting along and to address any concerns that you may have.
The office itself is spacious, comfortable, and bright. We have skin treatment rooms, a consulting office, an examination room, a minor operations theatre with panoramic views, and a recovery room for patients. The building is modern, aesthetically appealing and outfitted with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. We are situated on the edge of the central business district and are fortunate to have glorious views of the city of Brisbane. This plastic surgeon also travels to our cosmetic surgery office in Mackay at least two days of the week to serve patients in this area.
